destination wedding in Aldeia de Pedralva

Ângela is from Braga, Laurentiu is romanian. They met somewhere in Europe and they came with their closest ones to make their Destination Wedding in Aldeia de Pedralva, in Algarve.

It was the end of summer, with its long and golden sunsets and it was one of the more joyful weddings of 2017 ...

2017!!! And this story was yet to be told ...

Our last year was rich and busy in the opposite measure of how much our blog was nourished. We experienced again the miracle of birth and we received Sofia and her smile. Between looking at her for endless time, and embracing her and cradling her and delighting ourselves, there was time to photograph (and select and edit and revise and deliver) but there was not enough time to publish.

Because sometimes it was not easy to put Sofia to sleep, we ended up putting the blog to sleep!

But good things don’t have an expiration date and this story that was such a pleasure to live, is still very tasteful to review through the photographs we made.

It was the end of summer! The sunsets were golden and it was golden the hay on the hills around Aldeia de Pedralva and the skin of the guests who had already tasted the Atlantic Ocean, so close. Ângela and Laurentiu were there to say ‘I do!’ to each other, and to the sun, to friends, to music and to partying. They did it on their own rhythm, dancing a lot, laughing always and enjoying every breath. In Ângela´s words in an interview to Simplesmente Branco, “It was beautifully chaotic and genuinely full of laughs.”

For us, who were lucky enough to watch all this with our lenses in between, it was an absolute joy. We were part of the party, we danced with them, we laughed also… Who knows, maybe it was there that Sofia, inside the belly, learned to smile! ...
