As in 2019, we were nominated this year as finalists in the competition 30 Rising Stars 2020 of Wedding Photography by Rangefinder.

Each year this contest chooses 30 young wedding photographers who, worldwide, stand out for exhibiting “promising talent, artistic prowess, a unique voice and creative direction in wedding photography”. This is one of the most desired and hard to achieve titles in the area of wedding photography, so these nominations make us very happy and proud.

Sadly, we were not among the winners.

Recovering something that we said already last year when the results of the 30 Rising Stars 2019 edition were revealed, there is both sadness and honor in losing the Champions League final: the sadness of being so close to such an important milestone and not seeing the trophy fall into our hand, the honor of such a beautiful and arduous walk.

What remains of this adventure, when the bittersweet taste of the news fades away, is the inexhaustible will to overcome. We want to grow: photograph better, edit better and fail better...photo after photo! The next final of our Champions League is played in the excited, nervous or enthusiastic hearts of the next couple that our lenses will meet! These are the finals that really matter to us.
And we can't wait...
