our best wedding photos in 2018

Every year, at the turn to a new one, just after the 12 raisins, wedding photographers release their compilations of the best of their work in the year that ends. We also, in early January, had our best wedding photos selected; although, we decided to hold them a little longer.

We had weddings until the last day of the year so, by January, our best was still incomplete. In fact, our year does not correspond to the calendar year but it extends until the end of winter. And the new season usually follows the arrival of spring.

Therefore today, 1st of May, we share the collection of our best wedding photos of 2018. Instead of marking the change of year, we want it to mark our birthday.

It was in a sunny 1st of May that our first archaic website rose timidly. It was the first time that the name Menino Conhece Menina was pronounced in the public world.

We had only one wedding to show, photographed between amateur street photography and architectural reportages, before wedding photography emerged as a choice for our lives, long before it emerged as a passion.

We have grown so much!

Looking at this other 1st of May makes us laugh at the naivety of what we were then. And, at the same time, it brings up imminent tears for feeling how good was the way that brought us to today.

And so, in this 1st of May, we look at our closest yesterday, very happy for all the days before and, above all, eager to look to tomorrow.

This is the best of us in 2018. It is the celebration of the extraordinary year we have lived but it is, more than anything, a motivational boost for 2019 that has just begun!
